I've decided not to create a hunting branch simply because everyone hunts. Along with your regular branch work you will be expected to bring something back at least once every OOC month.

looking to join? A vast land expands before you. It is sunset, and the sky is alight with fiery hues; illuminating the darkening sky with a vibrancy unmatched by anything else. As you look ahead you notice a valley below. Hundreds, maybe thousands of trees shroud the valley in secrecy. You'd heard stories of a noble pack which had been recruiting members for several moons. Was this the right place? Were they nice wolves? Peering a hundred or so feet ahead, it seemed that a dangerous and rocky path was the only way there. Shuffling nervously you begin your descent into the wilds. For several minutes you travelled. It could have been 15, maybe 20 minutes before you were at the treeline. At first the trees were sparse; easily navigated and not very tall. As you vetured deeper the forest got dense. Pretty soon you could no longer make out much of what was in front of you, and a sense of dread gripped your heart. Eventually you were starting to give up. The surrounding rea smelled oddly of other canines, but you thought little of it. The general area could be home to other packs, but you were told this one would let their presence be known if you got too close. A sigh left your maw and you found a place to rest. It wasn't comfortable but it would do. Closing your eyes, you decide to drift off, but not before a sharp snarl eminated from the immediate viscinity. Your eyes snap open, and you cower where you sit. "Looks like we've attracted another Grunt! Someone show this kid to camp, I'm sure there will be more soon." |
